AfriCamps at Pat Busch is situated in Pat Busch Mountain Reserve just outside Robertson. 2000 Hectares of spectacular mountain fynbos with streams, mountain dams, birdlife, and various animals such as bucks, fallow deer, Nguni cows, and even a very shy leopard. The reserve is also home to a rare Protea Flower that was thought extinct for almost 50 years and is now under the protection of Cape Nature. The reserve forms part of the Klaasvoogds West foothills in the Langeberg Mountain between the towns of Robertson & Montagu. With over 160 years of history, Robertson has grown into one of the most attractive Cape Winelands towns, with Victorian buildings, jacaranda-lined streets, and vineyards banked with beautiful roses. The Robertson Valley forms part of Route 62, the longest wine route in the world and famous for its many wine festivals. There are also a big variety of attractions, activities, and culinary delights on offer. Visit the Rialheim, a ceramic factory, where you can view and buy unique and fun handcrafted ceramic homeware. Take wine tasting to a whole different level by taking the Viljoensdrift River Cruise including a gourmet picnic on the tranquil waters of the Breede River. Or meander your way up the Langeberg Mountain with the Montagu Tractor Trip and enjoy your traditional Potjiekos at an altitude of 1500m above sea level.
