Nestled behind forested sand dunes at the shores of Lake Shazibe, Sodwana Bay Lodge Dive & Fishing Resort is located in the heart of Maputaland. The resort features a scuba dive centre, restaurant and a spa. The reed and thatched chalets at the resort come with air conditioning, tea-and-coffee making facilities and en-suite bathroom with shower. Each has a wooden deck. Guests can dine at the Leatherbacks Seafood and Grill or join for a barbecue in a Zulu Boma. There is also a poolside bar. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including scuba diving, fishing, hiking and diving. The Sodwana area is known for its coral reefs and diverse marine life.
